I'd love to do another Baja trip, I'm an old Baja hand, first trip as a small boy with my parents 1957, first trip to the tip 1973. Now retired so anytime is good except dead of winter, I spent X-mas there in the early 80's and it was very cold (down jacket cold) so winter (Dec-Feb) is out.

Ride street tires. Carry extra tires. Carry 2 months worth of gear, food and alcohol on a 2-day trip. At least 10 gallons of fuel. Do it 2-up. Sit backwards on the bike. I'm sure a creative guy like you can think of lots more ways to have fun and challenge yourself. Add tacos and beer and it's all good.
Wally, is that two-up idea an invite? It sounds like a Fabulous experience (said with a slight lisp and a flick of the wrist)!

I'll be there about 20 miles south of San Felipe somewhere between mile 250 and 300. So the fastest bikes will be coming through when it's still dark. The trucks will be coming through that area somewhere around noon.

Hope to see you there.
JCR pits should be a fun experience. Yes, please keep us posted as to where you'll be and hopefully we can meet up.

You might even get to see The Lord of the Dance in action outside of Mulege.

Yo TB, that sounds like one of the dozens of Baja stories you can post here
