I was able to go up the highland of Baguio to the Highest point in the Mt. Province. And its good to be back on the saddle after the long hibernation.

As you can see the photos expresses a lot.......

My ride buddies Adrian Campos and Roberto Saenz

THe machines (L to R) Skyhook Pike's Peak, R65LS & V-strom

A little shower won't make me sick right?

Let me do it again.....

Entering........

And exiting with style!!!

Nothing beats a happy smile on a riders's face

My gf is going to her sisters . What is safest and best price way for her to get from Terminal 2 to Caloocan City . We are in Cebu staying at MBs Garden Inn home of Outsiders Motorcycle Club. Last few weeks have been very hectic , been to Camiguin Island , Bohol and southern Leyte but with storms around done a runner back here as I fly out next week to hopefully get to Motogp ( passport is just short of 6months to go ) then back to NZ and get bikes out. . I have lots neat pics and will post as soon as I get time . Salamat Toddy

Hey Toddy,

Kindly tell your GF to take a white cab at the second floor of Terminal 2. That is where the departure is. The cabs there are "outsiders" from the regular Airport taxi fleet located at the arrival area. They are regular priced than the latter.

Thanks Herc , her sis is going to travel into airport to meet her so i dont have to worry I have lots neat pics to post but wifi is down where im staying , its been a great 8 months here but will only do 6 month stay now as having to get immigration clearance to leave is a load bulls##t a , I was at Immigration for 2 hours yesterday , they wanted there ACR-I card back but Manila hadn't been sending them out so the man and the lady got told , hopefully I get to Motogp as my passport has just under 6 months life left in it . Shouldnt be a prob as I have been to Sing and KL lots of times and my final Destination is New Zealand . Cheers and thanks again Herc

Wicked On the move again

One last pic from Bantayan Island . After we left Santa Fe we took ferry to Hagnaya then bus to Cebu. I always stay at MBs Garden Inn which is also the home of the Outsiders Motorcycle Club . Next day it was up early and catch the fast boat to Tacloban Bohol . Next it was a Bus to Jagna and old fast boat to Camiguin Island . When we got off ferry the touts were after us so we took refuge in local eatery . They wanted 300p to take 2 of us to Seascape . We caught a jeepney for 30p each .

600p a night if u stay a week , motorcycle hire was 200p day

5 mins walk along the road was the Kiwi Bar so we were there most nights

The road around the outside of the island is 65 km and not 1 pot hole.

There is hot and cold springs

The Sunken Cemetery at sun set .

This place is a must visit .

Every Wednesday its pool completion at The Monkey Bar

Well that's Camiguin Island . This place is different to the rest of Philippines , its like all the money goes back into the place and not someones personal pork barrel . The roads are great schools in great condition . I rate it 2nd best place I have been to in Philippines .

8:12am local time

rode it out in Cebu and the effects here were pretty significant...

but the philippine people are very resiliant and bounce back fairly easily from calamity that would paralize the western world

have not been out yet to inspect the trails but am expecting a fair amount of land slides and other similar issues

.

I am glad that they are okay.

How sad, everything happened without any hint.

Hope and pray for all to survive and recover from the trauma that the earthquake has brought upon them.

I see yr from Auckland , I arrived here Tuesday after 8 months in the Phills and Motogp at KL on way home . I fly south to Queenstown then home to Te Anau tomorrow Sat . Its a shame the old Historic Buildings being damaged and loss of life . I have been to Bohol several times and stay in Cebu when arriving and leaving but spend most of my time at Bantayan Island . Would be nice to meet up , if your down south pm me . Cheers Toddy

Wicked Southern Leyte to Cebu

We had another delayed ferry , this time Ubay to Southern Leyte . We were going to take a pump boat but it never arrived and Roro to Bato was running late .

We stayed the night at Bato and next morning caught jeepney to Maasin where tricycle rider gave us the run around , then Cebu Pacific cancelled my flight to Motogp . There was also a big Typhoon building up off Northern Samar so I said to Juliet we r heading to Cebu to get things sorted I also had to get clearance to leave from Immigration so next morning it was off to Hilongos to catch ferry to Cebu.

This Roro has to be best in the Phills , everything was perfect , food , crew , top marks to Robel Shipping .
