650 miles in two days & I am home. Route nailed down. Long days & lots of miles. I left out the loop back into Parker as it will take doing 3 days. Evaluating a ride is very difficult & subjective. We all have different skills. Have ridden the full length of the Mohave Trail about 6 times. Previous times on TE Huskies & XR650L's. Today went from Laughlin to Cima Rd on WR250R. The rains have done a lot of changing to that section. I would say the toughest trip across so far for me. If you hate sand you will hate this ride. The sand goes on & on with rocks in between. Talked to a Ranger at Cima & she said technically it was closed but not a problem. She is working but no pay check. Two other riders & I are doing a loop from Prescott at the end of the month & I get no kick in getting someone in a situation they struggle in & just hate, so want to put this out there so they have some idea of what's involved. Has anybody ridden this section recently? I am talking in the last few weeks. I am probably just a wimp but a GS on what I rode this am would not be doable for me Here are a few pics & video's of the easy peasy stuff but gives a little insight as to what it looks like. Will add as soon as I can load them.

Video's added. Hope this shows how much fun this trail is? At the beginning anyway While talking to the Ranger little gal she said she also rode & had a TW Yamaha. Asked if my bike was street legal for the freeway & such? She was not familiar with the WRR. I said I just came through all that sand & crap & still can do 75 on the freeway all day. She also asked was there others in my group? I said I was solo & she rolled her eyes & shook her head I wondered what those truckers were thinking when as I passed them at 75 on I 40 on a little 250 cc dirt bike with knobby tires. I'm sure they thought at least a 500cc or bigger Truly an amazing little bike. I slabbed it from Needles to Williamson Valley Rd & down & home. That picture of that little rocky uphill got a lot worse, the Gal said even with 4 wheel drive she could not get through due to not enough ground clearence

Tom, you have done it again... Taken us all on a ride most can only dream of doing.

But, have I mentioned before that I'm not overly fond of sand. Especially miles upon miles of it broken by a pile of rocks now and then.

That could work for me. Have many fond memories of riding that area. Trying to get the trailer loaded and get out of here. Hoping to spend a week in the area riding, got a friend in Parker. Will bring the 525 with the auxiliary tank, good for about 125 miles range in the dirt. Updated my location. It's getting cold up here and time to fly south!
