check your email for the approval link.

it's all automated. I did it yesterday and was on the forum (under a new fake profile) in 5 minutes.

Pretty sure this has been covered here, but you need to call the Orleans directly and use the group code (page 1) to get a room. Otherwise the hotel is showing sold out.

Ha ha, was thinking of just riding up to the front desk of the Cosmopolitan in full riding gear and asking for the room with all the white rabbits

The best is when it rains on day 2, get to tromp into the lobby of a nice hotel soaking wet and filthy.

Why sure, I'd love a free beer!

Agreed that you should double check, but the Orleans told us that we could leave our vehicle and trailer there for the ride. They didn't guarantee security though.

Making Trail to Palmdale

Who's riding from LV to Palmdale before the start. We're heading over a couple of days ahead of time and staying with friends in LA before going to Palmdale the night before the ride. Any route suggestions, especially with the rains in Death Valley, would be appreciated. We're riding a big Husky and a Challenge so a little slab is not out of the question, but we'd like to stick to the dirt.

LV to Palmdale

We'll either be riding to Palmdale from the Orleans on Thursday, or driving the truck if we can find a way to get it shuttled back to LV.

If we end up riding, dirt instead of the freeway would be nice, at least part of the way. We will need to fuel up part way. I'm on a 690 with only a stock tank, so not much range.

We're open to options.

Yes, already posted there. No takers yet. I think action will pick up as the date gets closer.

Offer up "Spa package weekend in Las Vegas for moving truck" and you might get a few responses.
