At least bikes have fewer parts....

If this kit existed, which it won't, you could conceivably transform an Adventure into an SE if you also purchased my gas tank kit and had access to an SE sub-frame (and a few other bits I'm sure...)

Dual Fans? from a SM? I was thinking about doing this in the spring when I do your tank.

The Adv Kit came 1st so it'll be available earlier. And that should be easier as the engine mounts can carry the bash plate

Well let's find out who wants Ken to build the parts we're talking about.
Matbe if demand is high enough he'll acquiesces.
For a future project
I'd like the underseat tank and skid plate at a minimum.
But really want a more complete kit with exhaust pipes
his tank, etc.

What ? maybe $5,000 a pop x 10 to 20 sets.

Max

Aha.
That's what I would have guessed - but I had some recollection you had the fuel pump between the cylinders... must have been mistaken

The FI pump is in the exact location as the stock pump, but mounted on the radiator support instead. That keeps me from having to deal with the extra plumping or any wiring when pulling the tank...

Yeah, the pump on the tank sucks.
Personally I find the adv tanks less hassle than the SE tank because of all bollocks attached to the SE tank.

Just out of curiosity - what benefits has underseat oil tank? I have never heard about problems with original oil tank and it's weight is in lowest position possible too.
