I've been commuting on the bike since I moved down here 5 years ago.

Usually up the 10 in the mornings. Down the 101 in the evenings. I keep it at a sane pace at 80. Unlike you hooligans on KLR's that blow past doing wicked speeds.

True story Dos! He and his buddy on the WR250 ride like the wind. It took us a half hour at full throttle to catch them on that trip to Toroweap.

Hey Bill, did you install your tool tube?

Yeah well it wouldn't take me that long to catch and pass him on my VFR. But I'm not looking to win any additional performance awards.

Julio,

Not yet but thanks for the link that's perfect. I will be stopping at Home Depot this week and get the mounting stuff

I also ordered the foam filter wrap to go with the K&L filter.

While cleaning the garage I noticed that I still have your impact driver, let me know when you get home and I will drop it off.

Thanks again for all the help everyone.

Bill

Good deal. It's a really good idea to put that prefilter on. This is my DR's prefilter after doing just two days of riding (the southern AZ ride we did a few weeks ago) .

As you can see, with the airbox open you're gonna get a lot more of that nasty stuff in there.

No rush on the impact driver. Drop it off whenever.

Nice! I don't like the 10 very much so I take the 101 to the 202 to get to Phoenix everyday and the reverse on the way home. I'll keep an eye out for you from now on.

Prescott

Well, I will be riding the bike to work tomorrow and then slabbing it up to Prescott for the Howling at the Moon weekend Can't wait to see how the bike handles with all the changes.

Hope to see at least a few familiar faces there and wish everyone who can't make it a great weekend.

PS

Thinking about doing a Mt Lemmon ride next weekend for anyone wanting to join in.

Take Care
Bill

Wade,

Glad you are going and I'm also going to do the B ride. Hope it isn't beyond my ability but we will see. Lynx lake is just down the road from my Sisters place where I'll be staying so I'll be sure to see ya.

Ricardo, Mike and Wade

Looking forward to seeing you. This ride should be quite a bit easier than Sheep's bridge. We can work out the detail next week as we have several different options.

Later
Bill

Dear resident VFR expert,
Do you think that the sum of the parts are worth more than the asking price? http://tucson.craigslist.org/mcy/4105545024.html
I thought it might be worth while to buy, strip, and sell parts to those in need. Want to get a feel for what is worth what on the market and you know your shiz on these. Thanks, Paul

Stunting?

I know that the single sided swing arm is always highly sought after.
Nobody really wants a VFR motor because who the hell needs one?
If the plastics were good they'd be worth a pretty penny but nothing on that thing looks to be in tact.

the 94 is the same type as my 95 which has a dual headlight.

so either that hunk of shit has a 93 headlight on it or it's not a 94.

Smelly fishy.
