I was upset, But in all reality I was happy. after all I was alive, it could have been worse if I had not gotten the clutch pulled in when I did. I checked and my AMA membership was up to date, so they sent a wrecker to get me off the highway at no cost to me. Last but no least my truck was at my sisters in Maryland, and my brother-in-law got in it right away and made the drive (Five hours each way) to rescue me.

And the guy I bought the bike from is going up to maryland to get the bike, and hopefully he is the stand up guy that he has been and makes it right.

Good to hear of all the good that happened. I thought I remembered you having a MD connection. I was born and raised there. No snow in the forecast down there I bet.

Hope he stands by the work needed and your back on the smooth and swift K12GT soon. I ogled that bike for a good many years.

He is a member here, so I hope so too. The rblem existed when I bought the bike. so I hope it works out. It took every penny I had to get this bike. Sold a couple to pay for it.

No offence I do not have any faith in the Big two "Dealers" we have done business (Service work with both)

But I have 100% faith in Heids Hodaka and BMW over in the Adirondacks, they may be a small mom and pop place working out of an old garage, thier service and knowledge are the best.

I offer 100% honest service.

Of course, 75% of the time I also have to say 'I have no idea what I'm doing...'

Example, diagnosing and replacing a transmission gear (think it was 2nd) in my buddies FJ1100...

Please remember that while Hunting Season has been open for a few weeks now, Rifle Season for the North Starts Tomorrow. Legal or not, might be a good time to stay away from some of the seasonal roads and tug hill. I do not want to hear of any riders catching a bullet from a caeless hunter who shot across a road, or missed his intended target and the bullet continued onward. I am sure there will be a lot of lead flying tomorrow.

Good call. Good day to stay home and get stuff done before winter. At least one person gets shot and killed up here each hunting season, let's not make it someone on a motorycle...

So... You don't think we'll get one more ride in before winter?

Happy Thanksgiving, guys. May your tryptophan comas offer the same weary contentment you get after a long day in the saddle.
