I'm watching too. And the nice thing is you don't have to listen to some TV guy try to explain suspension set up or other dribble.

Some of the best racing we've seen, 4 and 5 wide.

..#12baker wins the championship..

flat track finals at pomona results are..
.baker H-D 1st
..smith KAW 2nd
...bauman SUZ 3rd
wow, just wow.
what a beautiful joint to watch a national. the place was near capacity for what i thought, and baker confirmed, was the best race of the season.
nail biter all the way. and after halbert lowsided going into 2 and the 10 lap ..fight to the finish, i though #2 koolbeth had a legit shot at grabbing a podium.
not to be. was a special treat to see the kid bauman wrestle the suzuki around #1 mees to grab a third place. was also special after baker made
his way to the podium, to see mees walk up and give baker his number one plate. what a show. highlight of the night, among many, was #10
johnny lewis run that triumph. he had something for em. he was leading the field during the last chance qualifer and went into 1 high and wide.
To wide. layed her down, picked her up. let the field pass and tore off to finish in 6th and make the last position in the final.. butt,
without a doubt. the star of the show was the kid from washington state. what a champion.

Seeing Baker completely out of the seat in turn 2 and not only save it but race back to the front was damned impressive. Great race and a well-earned championship for Baker and his team.

Agree, almost threw the year away, but damn. How about Lewis going down, pick it up and transfer...One great night of racing. Baker earned it, and deserves it.

A great night of racing. I was glad to be reminded of AMA Pro's streaming simulcast. Congrats to the 2 new AMA flat track champions!

The speedway bikes were not as exciting as they should have been. But bloody fast!

+1 on the livestream. Great racing for sure, 12 was gonna get the championship or nothing! Being a Scrambler rider I was rooting hard for Lewis and Martin. Lewis was definitely on the gas and I concur, to throw it away in turn 2 pick it up and make the main was awesome! Looking forward to next year already.

If "Live Streaming" was good, I have to say, it was the best flattrack racing I've seen since the '70s. It was AWESOME being there in the stands at the end of the front shoot! And yes, Brad Baker is super-human to have gotten control of the bike back after the horn dance between 1 and 2!

The flat track racing world was rocked this morning at the announcement by Ricky Howerton that the Crosley Radio/Howerton Motorsports team was pulling out of AMA Grand National competition. Bryan Smith rode the Crosley/Howerton Kawasaki to second-place in the AMA Grand National Championship this year and won the Expert Twins division of the series for the second year in a row.

Read more at the link above...
No mention of Shayna Texter who was also sponsored by Crosley Radio. I'm left wondering if Crosley Radio will continue to support AMA Pro Flat Track with another team.

Bummed to see Howerton Motosports leave. The bike was fast, beautiful and everything about the operation was very professional. Hope Bryan Smith finds a good seat for next year.
