So anyone else setting their sights on "there will be dust" in November?

I always turn around and double back, but from there you can hop on 19 and slab it back to Tucson.
Just to add to it, you could take the continental road on the way back out to madera canyon area all the way through to 82 near sonoita, then take 83 through the lovely winding mountain roads back into vail/Tucson.

Or would that road across be a bit much for larger DSers?

Anyone have one for cheap??

Just got my hands on a Honda ST90 and am restoring it. I want to carry it on my front hitch when I go camping.

They come and go on craigslist. There was one up for $70 a few weeks ago, and there's a guy in Phoenix that has one in aluminum (oooh) that I'm hoping to get when I make my way up there.

Cheap, though? Got a welder and some 2" square?

They sell them at CG brand new for $100 every now and again. A friend of mine has one, they're not bad.

gas tank repair

Does anyone have any recommendations on where I could take a steel gas tank to get a dent taken out of it and have the area cleaned and primed?

I would take it to one of those paintless repair places.

That's where I try first too.

Now how about someone to paint a tank? I have one that is steel with no dents but needs a paint job.

Ask Skip. He had a guy that he gave me. Did an very good job on a big 640 ADV tank. It was that really tough plastic so not as easy as a metal tank.

Morning crew! I have a brother and father coming to visit in January and they were asking about renting a couple of bikes to explore the area. Is there somewhere I could get some dual sports or adventure bikes lined up for us to take out for a few days?

Morning! What kind of size/performance/application are you looking for for them?

You could do what I do, buy some bikes that need a little work, fix minor problems (been sitting for years, needs carb cleaned, oil changed and fresh gas), enjoy them then sell for a profit!
