Not at all...he was riding with conviction, and not letting some cunt in a semi make a decision on when, where, and how he's going to ride.

I sure hope they arrested the trucker for assault! even after the first attack and the poor guy was innocently on the ground the trucker ran over his bike!

I just can't imagine how fast he was going that 6-9 seconds of braking wasn't enough? Can someone better at math than me do some calculations?

People not paying attention or multitasking instead of paying attention is a wider problem than just drivers at stoplights, I'm afraid. They're talking about cars in 10 years driving themselves, so the "drivers" can do more important stuff like update their Facebook page or whatever.

Cars today have automatic everything, radar sensors, back-up cameras and computer screens. Whatever happened to just paying attention and driving your damned car with your brain fully engaged?

OK, rant over.

I think his comment was assessing his undies. His riding reflects what happens when his 2 brain cells don't communicate! To paraphrase Chuck Yeager: There are old riders and there are bold riders but there no old bold riders.

The truck driver probably did not even know that the bike hit the trailer and fell under the wheels, I was a semi driver for 13 years, the impact was way too light to be transferred to the tractor and if he had his windows closed there was not enough noise to hear it over the engine and when sitting in stopped traffic one tends to pay attention to the cars in front of you

Awesome idea - make the phone beep and shut down untill the acceloramater goes for a few seconds detecting the vehicle moving.

This guys clearly not from California or the UK and his lane splitting/filtering skills are terrible.

Why is everybody in such a hurry anyhow?

Hey Dave, I'm almost never in a hurry, (retired); however I do abhor inattentive drivers, because I'm pretty sure the next stupid thing they might do will potentially hurt me. Best Wishes!

I'm in a hurry because the time saved from going fast is worth the extra cost. Even if I just save 5 minutes on a 1 hour trip, that adds up to a lot of time over the years.
