RTB4:CRUSTY NO MORE...An after RALLY RECALL

Well...RTB4 has come and went with only minimal injuries(NO Helicopter Rides) I had my most intense recovery which will be viewed here later I am sure. We had a total of 121 riders come thru checkin! We had folks from NEw Mexico, Florida, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Arkansas, and Canada. Rain held off for most of the Rally but got Saturday night. Hats off to TxJames and Mongo for getting the fire going so we could cook off the Barca loungers. Special thanks to MsBehavin, AndrewT, Lady Ghost, YardRacer and Ulybrad for helping feed the hungry hordes!!!! Thanks for Veriest, MR2Mch and SlowOldGuy in working up Routes this year. Veriest routed numerous bikes to there demise. I would have never dreamed I could stick my Polaris Ranger on a public road in Texas All well that ends well, We got the Super T unstuck and I can fix the winch so all is mostly good...Lets just say duct tape works wonders I have not uploaded pics yet but will be posting later this eveing after I have a shower and a beer Stay tuned

Had a great time. Swollen thumb and foot for keep sakes. We'll definitely be back next year.

That isn't to say that we weren't begging for a helicopter

Andrew sure can make that big ol' truck float like a butterfly though; I was so very thankful for that.

Rtb 4

Thanks to Ghost and all his family and crew for an excellent rally! The riding is a hidden jewel of Texas and you need to come try it out! The new venue is great, homey, gives everyone a chance to hang out, camp, and have a fire. While a late night storm blew in, we were lucky with the weather, rain did not hit during the main riding time. I will post up more, here are a few teasers:

Some of the fearless, hard working crew that brought you RTB!

A big thanks to Ghost and Lady Ghost, and all the others that made RTB 4 such a great time. It was good to meet new and old friends and eat some good food.

I had a fantastic time - thanks so much to Dody, Brad Collins, SoG, and everyone else that made it happen. I even got my first experience leading a small group, which went surprisingly well.

My pictures HERE.

I'm going to try to slap together a little video from my gopro footage - just some of the sand riding and some casual-speed stuff from the run to the ribs.

Thank's Y'all, had a fantastic time. Much thanks to Larry and Dody for helping get Ken's S10 out of the gloop. That was quite the adventure.

Definitely coming back next year.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. As everyone will soon learn I really just held the camera.

It was the morale support that was appreciated You made the choice to stay with us and watch the expected upcoming spectacle, and I don't think you were disappointed

Fantastic time. Met lots of great people and had some great riding. Many thanks to the hosts and helpers for making it so enjoyable!

Here's one of the better pics we got of my bike:

The GoPro video is fun to watch. Will have to cut the good part into a short clip.
