I know folks who make their living with a shop in CO for the summer and one in Hawaii in the winter. Sucking up those tourist $$$ in paradise year round. They are always smiling!

Hey!...good on ya with the Silverton deal and good luck with the endeavor. Of all the Colorado "tourist" towns, I like Silverton the best because it still seems to hold on to more of its rustic soul than any other. It turns more "tourist" when the train is in town, but it reverts back closer to its natural state when the train leaves. I really like that place.

Yeah, I go back to BB every December like clockwork. I've also been spending more time over at the BB Ranch State Park and Terlingua area. The state park has an amazing amount of more rugged trail riding than the NP. I spend at least 3 days camping and riding there...talk about getting away from it all. The NP is great, and I still go there for a few days, but the SP has more and tougher riding by far...not the ideal place for the "big bikes" like you guys were riding when we met. I'm sure it's doable by some, but smaller dual sports are probably a much better choice.
