Requirements are simple.
1. You want to ride this weekend. And pretty much any time you can get away.
2. You are reasonably tolerate of a girl riding at a moderate pace. (I don't have nuts, I can't think through shit the way you guys do. Nor do I care to do so.)

Yes, I suck, but I would like to think my enthusiasm makes up for what I lack in ability. I do ask questions if I think you're better than me. So unless you tell me to just shut up and ride, there will be Q&A moments. If you do tell me to shut up and ride, I will respect that. I just really, really, really want to ride.

I'm also cool with having to go do beginner loops by my lonesome if you need to go ride fast and aggressive with the boys for a bit. If I get one good loop in on challenging stuff, I'm a happy girl. Better yet, give me drills to practice while you're gone and I'll think you're the greatest thing ever.

Referrals available upon request.
I want to join!

I'm sure KC does too. We finally got her bike running again! Now we need an excuse to get dirty.

Well I'm definitely in now!

Can't make it this weekend though.

Gotta watch the kiddo all weekend unless y'all want some spectators.

On that note, can anyone help me source an early 90s KX250 front end?

And a rear shock for an '83 CR480R

I ham-fisted it and broke the forks and rear shock so nothing holds oil anymore.

Rear shock: http://www.ebay.com/itm/REAR-MONO-SH...011c14&vxp=mtr

(there's another on ebay as well)

1995 KX250 forks: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-95-Kawa...915e59&vxp=mtr

Again, there are many listed.

Thanks for the motivation! I ordered all of the parts that I think I need.

I'm going out riding in the Ozarks this weekend (on the GT), but depending when the parts get in (and if I forgot anything) I might be able to ride Red River (or elsewhere?) the weekend after.

And the 480 in its element this past April:

HERO! Thank you! I look forward to riding. I'll hit my practice track this weekend if I've got no one else. But at least I know I can ride the following weekend. THANK YOU!!

I'll ride anywhere. It doesn't have to be RRMT.

And that pic is awesome BTW.

Yep. The house sits on 60 acres. There's a practice loop in the back. Nothing fancy or difficult. Good for practicing hard braking and turns. No woods, just in an open field, a lot like a vintage MX course.

I know! That's my next purchase. I want to race a vintage bike in a bad way. This is a terrible, addictive illness.
