Toronto Motorcycle Show (you know the one that was downtown)

I just got the November issue of "Motorcycle Mojo" On page 59 there is an ad for the "The motorcycle shows.ca". This appears to be an ad for the manufactures show. The ad says new date, new location.
Not 100% sure I like the idea of the show moving it's location. It was always nice to walk out on to front street and pick any number of places to eat after the show.
The ad also mentions ATV's and everything powersport.

FWIW, it's now at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place and in February (instead of December).

Details here...

Yes so true.... funny the .com and .ca both get the same website

Not sure I like the date change and they also talk about ATV's and other powersports being there.... time will tell if they made the right choice.

There have been ATVs at the show for as long as I can remember. No aftermarket ATV stuff that I recall though.

I always looked forward to the show in December. I would pick up all the brochures and info available, then in the cold darkness of winter when I'm getting the itch to ride again (usually late December) I would open my bundle of moto-porn and read all about bikes.....Now I have to wait until February, ugh!

With any luck, there will be more clubs and small vendors back again, they where priced out of the show in recent years.

Looks like Kawasaki will be back, not that anyone noticed them missing from last year's show.

The December show is the only one I attended because of the manufacturers and the fact that I'm not a pirate :)

It'll just be a bit longer wait this year...

There are no manufacturers at the show in January... the bikes you see there are there as part of dealer stock, which generally means you'll see only a few models of a particular brand at any one dealer.

The January show is very Hardley centric as well.

I call the January show near the airport a nick nack show. Maybe if you are looking for some gear(jacket, pants, gloves) you might try sunday afternoon at the January show.

I use either of the shows to meet up with riding friends that I haven't seen since the summer.

It's to bad the Dec show is downtown. I avoid that place like the plague.

I've been to the snowmobile show in Novi several times, but never the bike show... is it mostly Hardleys or is there a good mix of vendors?

I haven't been there in a couple of years, been down in Florida in Jan. but it used to be a great show. Almost all manufacturers there and lots of vendors.
Some good deals as well.

It is all the manufactures there but hardly does have a booth. There where lots of venders there last year. Ducati had the best looking girls last year.
