Someone with very "limited organizational skills" should do that...
You speedy riders can lunch at Havasu and we slow'r guys can eat at the Wayside at Alamo. Or if some really want to be tortoise slow they can just amble up to Yarnell for the second course of breakfast.

Why am I always late to the party?

Come to think about it... The whole cream center conversation is scary...

A little ride with Wordsworth. Approx. 75 miles, 6 hours. A loop North & West of Wickenburg. More pavement than I like but was attempting to avoid soooo much sand.
Wordsworth is what you would consider a nooby when it comes to desert riding. However he did very well considering the terrain we crossed. He took a few naps but nothing spectacular.
A great day for a ride...

Took this little photo break just a few minute's after my low-side cut and roll in the sand. Don't mind falling but hate to have witnesses, Chase you are sworn to secrecy by the N.W. of Phoenix ADV Riders Code.

This is a 8' drop just ahead of the xr4. Came to this from the other side a couple weeks ago and wanted to see this side.

Asked my companion to stay on the easy side of this encounter as I was coming back his way soon.

4 or 5 miles prior to this we encountered a locked gate Another of those mysteriously locked public gates. This was just a log chain and a padlock and it was not there on Tuesday. However I did find an alternate route via a wire-gap along the RR Tracks. We had to do some cow-trailing without the cows . Covered some variable terrain to get to a trial I knew would get us back on track.
Stopped here and Wordworth did more adjusting on his bike... did I mention his battery came loose earlier! He had taken a tumble or two along the way and he even had grass wedged between his wheel & new D606s. As I mentioned before he did a great job of traveling along with me.

Nice ride report mefadv!
Wish I had a report for sundays ride but not much photo ops.

This is the only one to give you some idea of the location.
We did 25 miles in 2.5 hours. Very exciting. Brought me back to my dirtbike senses. In summary-went behind Vulture peak on some of my hunting terrain. We went further than my SUV ever could and did it faster. At one time we both paused and stayed on the pegs for a full minute completely in sync at the top of a hill. Just about to shoot to the rocky bottom. At a brief stop I told my brother I needed to rebend my clutch lever. 30 seconds later it broke clean off mid way up a steep rocky incline. I glanced down and asked alex if we had been here. He said no. Couple hundred more yards we both realized that we were on the same trail. Ended up riding about 5 miles twice. I was barely able to operate the clutch one fingered. We got back to camp just in time for an ice cold lemonade. It was a great time!

I asked 6 people to go and only Wordsworth could make it. However it scares the crap out of me when I look back and no-one-is-there. As I usually know how far it is to medical or mechanical assistance.
I like to share my knowledge of the area but most of the time no extra responsibility of taking others along makes for a more peaceful adventure.
On Sunday I rode about 6 miles of single-trac alone and the 10 miles of double trac getting there was not much better. Usually do not do single trac any more (tooo long in the tooth), but pissed me off falling in that easy sand corner!

Pmail me with some info and I'll put you on the next ride list.

Ive been told and agree, best way to group ride is dont worry about the others. Make fully understood arangements for unintended seperation and go with it. "Ride your own ride".
