Thanks Walter, the Pirate one took some searching!

THE NEXT 7
We'll see how long this one lasts.
Your town or a neighboring town in 7 pictures.
One pic must be the "Welcome to......" sign, so we know where it is.
The remaining 6 "different" pics must be of any historically or architecturally
significant building or structure/place that defines the town. And not 6 different houses.
But if you use a house tell us what makes it worthy. (ie Geo Washington slept here, etc.)
As not to just take 6 pics from different angles, your bike should move
a least one block from the previous pic. No duplicates. The idea is to show
us around of what you think is worthy. Be the tour guide, show us around
and maybe we'll want to visit!!
Please though, do not take any pictures of a strip mall, mall, shopping
centers or big box stores. If that's all your town has, move.

Anti-file is date & time stamp or a small pumpkin (baseball size) on bike somewhere.

Original Train station, now a town building.

The Grange, a trading location for many years

Witt Bothers Market, a fixture of the town.

The next three are old business that are now just landmarks from teh past.

This place was powered by a water wheel

I believe this used to be a textile plant.

The Castle house, no info on it, other than it is cool.

Next, any seven light houses from at least two different states, using this site;

http://www.lighthousefriends.com/maps.html

If the name is not obvious in the picture, please tell us what Lighthouse it is.

Thanks for grabbing my lame 7. It was an attempt to get folks out who wouldn't normally ride in cold weather.
Would that be Wyoming, Delaware?

I thought it was a good 7. Got me to look up some local history, just couldnt quite put it together with my small rural towns.

The new seven

In honor of our nations veterans, next tag will be all things veteran. VFW, Legion, cemetery, statue. What you pick is up to you but you cant repeat any of the tags. Good luck and to all veterans out there thank you for your service.

Does that mean only 1 VFW and 1 American Legion post rather than, for example, 7 of either or 3 of one and 4 of another?

Well, I let a weekend go by, may as well claim it while it's reasonably current

Better pic of this Eagle Scout project. He's now a Marine officer serving in Afghanistan as an interpreter
