fly and ride to orlando or Miami? Eaglerider has locations

in both areas. Orlando is at the airport.

My brother and i want to fly in for about 5 days this feb. Which one should we chose and then which routes or roads are best?

Orlando would be closer to anything worth riding...plus there are mountains about an hour northwest of OIA.

Yeah, Orlando is the better choice. There are roads around central FL worth riding. South FL around Miami not so much. The only draw for Miami IMHO would be the Keys and Key West. I've lived in Miami and Key West - overrated.

ok. should i use eagle rider? Eagle rider is at the airport.

What about roads or places to see. will come down from Wed - Sunday.

If you don't have a need to be in Florida I'd fly to San Diego and go on a baja tour with bajabound. Way more fun.

My choice for you would be Orlando BUT,

I'm here in Miami, if you want to see the area, alligators, topless beaches, etc etc, let me know.

Roads:
Ozello Trail
Monte Verde area, to include Sugarloaf Mountain Co Rds 561 and 455 area
East Gobbler Trail, Floral City.
Emaralda Island Ave/Trail, north of Tavares
Co Rd 42 from SR44 to at least Buck and Doe's.(and Forest RD 8, 182nd Ave SE)

A lot of Lake, Pasco, and Marion(think horse country) county back roads are quite pleasant, Google maps is your friend.

The best roads in Florida were relocated to N GA. quite some time ago. Fly into Atlanta take 400 North, find Suches and then you can't conceivably go wrong for 4-5 days easy.
