Happy Halloween! Sorry to hear about your broken screen? You got a backup plan?

So I basically dried out everything in La Paz at the hostel in the morning and took the pavement down to Cabo San Lucas.

Couldn't find any new tires in either town, so I decided to just take the pavement up back to the states

sped down to cabos and hated it. felt so touristy

driving back up, it was so lush

like, so lush!

pretty landscape

So I took 1 all the way up in 3 days.
Cabos -> Muleje -> San Quintin (ugh, ran over a nail in front of the motel here but was able to get it patched on a Saturday night) -> San Diego

ooh mt90! $$$

put on the new tires!

secret hobo campground in SD

So that's the end of my Baja trip. Next time I will leave the camping gear behind and go more lightweight :-) Simply too stressful worrying about your bike falling apart

I'm chilling in San Diego. I actually wanted to stay here on my way down. I went to UCSD for grad school and am visiting all my old spots. Love it here. Yesterday I rode around in a preserve and some dude yelled at me from his backyard.

Did you get any GPS tracks you can share? I'm interested in your route from San Felipe to Gonzaga, I understand the road is paved pretty much all the way there, so I'm looking for an alternate dirt route for an out and back from SF. Might throw Coco's in there too if it's not too far.
