Hope the other driver had insurance.
It would never happen to a KLR because the car turning left would have got thru before the KLR even got there.

My neighbor works for a local BMW dealer. He told me one of the guys there tells everyone who buys a GS to take it home, and drop it in the driveway, to get the first drop out of the way, so they can enjoy the bike.

Me thinks ya might have taken that advice a wee bit too far.

Glad you're ok, and way to keep a sense of humor.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, I'm A-OK. Tendonitis and some nerve damage: both of which are fancy words for bruising. Nothing broken. The worst part about the accident is that I had a friend coming in from Canada for some riding that I missed out on. Looking mighty hard at the Tiger 800 now.
