I don't think "lighter" is the term I would use in the same sentence as that bike.

I'd ride that.

Edit, I'd ride the piss out of it, once they put forward controls on it. Those mid mounts are awfully high. I'd be a bit cramped at 6'4"

Hill climber, maybe?

Edit: Or should I say street hillclimber in the same vein as a street tracker?

2012 Kawasaki KLR 650 must go - $7000 (2604 Rippee Road)

2012 KLR 650 is in great condition with less than 2500 miles. The bike has never been off road. It has an K&N air filter, Lexx Performance Exhaust, Nelson- Rigg Saddle bags, KLR handlebar bag. Almost new Shinko 705 Dual Sport tires. Also included with the bike will be a folding ramp ( able to fold up and fit in a truck bed toolbox), a first aid kit, a tire puncture/inflation kit, and a lock to keep the bike secure. Must go!
You gotta wonder if the first aid kit and the low mileage sale are related.

2 multi pot calipers?
How much braking force does he think he can you put through a rear knobbie?

It doesn't look like they are both hooked up.

Nicely matched to the tiny single pot one up front too.
