No mention of Shayna Texter who was also sponsored by Crosley Radio. I'm left wondering if Crosley Radio will continue to support AMA Pro Flat Track with another team.

Bummed to see Howerton Motosports leave. The bike was fast, beautiful and everything about the operation was very professional. Hope Bryan Smith finds a good seat for next year.
well that about sucks!! hopefully he'll land on another kawi, he does seem to go good on them!

Today Yamaha introduced a 689cc parallel twin with a 270 degree crank. No word yet on whether its coming to the US market.

Another low-cost engine option for Expert Twins?

maybe, but only if they make some horsepower, or at least have the potential to make horsepower. no mention on how much the motor weighs, but since the bike is fairly light, I bet the motor weighs less than a sportster.

But with a 60 degree V, it probably has the weight further back than a sportster or a Kaw?

Quite the shake up in the 2014 AMA Pro Flat Track rules. No more restrictors for miles or half miles and apparently no more singles class for those venues.

link to rulebook,
changes in red

Finally, the tedium and aural assault comes to an end.

The rumble in the street sounds like Knoxville is up in the air for '14. Matt George is trying to make it happen again. Watch the weekend of June 13th thru the 15th. Vintage bikes, World Of Outlaw sprints, and AMA Pro Flat Track...

I'd like to see them add the 3/8 mile at Fernley in conjunction with Street Vibrations going on in September. You'd think it would get a good turnout.
