I hope Rossi gets another win and has a decent season, but part of me hopes it is his last. I think that trying too hard to run with those 3 Spaniards could lead to retirement through injury.

Honestly, I'm surprised the 3 aliens made it to the end of the season in relative health.

Only one did, that's why he's champ.

Partly, yes. But he also had to whoop the asses of two other fast Spaniards on track a few times, and he did that. Valencia doesn't really count, as he was avoiding trouble, check out for example Malaysia, when both were going as fast as they can.

And interestingly, MM took 4 extra points by leaning on JL on Jorge Lorenzo-corner at Jerez... and that's how many points separated these two in the end.

May be true.

Cal has already agreed that it does not turn.

Those two have their work cut out for them.

Even Dovi has already said, "I will believe it when I see it," as far as improving the bike goes.

I think he is quietly carrying a few injuries, too.

It's going to be a long winter (Is it March yet? )

What can F1 Learn from Moto GP?

I think the author is right that there are more good on track battles in MotoGP than F1, but that's an awful low bar, IMHO

Pol getting to grips with the M1. He said it was not as frightening as he expected it to be.

Re-upped. Loved every minute last year. Because of the feeds, this thread and Krop's site GP is huge fun.

Obviously this is Rossi's get faster or leave year. I don't think he can match the three in front of him - hope I'm wrong on that.

MM dodged a few bullets by crashing as much as he did and not getting any very serious injuries - I'm looking for that to change next year. Might open the door for Pedro.

I don't dislike Pedro but Puig just chaps my ass. If Dani dumped him I would be cheering for him as a hard luck underdog. As it stands I'm happy to see him 3rd just because I like to see Puig disappointed.

JL looked seriously determined at the test today, I'm really looking forward to the fireworks between him and Marq in '14.

Yes some of us are

Testing was great to watch today; looking forward to Hayden's reports once he's done tomorrow.

I spy Ohlins suspension and Nissin brakes.

This photo shows off how truly huge the Bridgestone tires are. they are using 4.0 inch wide front rims these days.

The re-organization of the structure.
Glad we got all that confusion out of the way early.

I wish Gigi well, he seems to have great credentials and I have no doubt he will lead Ducati out of the wilderness if he is given free rein and adequate resources. It will definitely take some time though.

Honestly though. I already get the feeling he really could turn things around fast and we could see Dovi getting podiums in the dry before the end of '14. Although the cynic in me hopes not because of Nicky getting sacked. I hope NH is out to greener pastures.

Forward Racing, hard at work assembling Colin's "Yamaha".

I am not sure why Yamaha doesn't just go ahead and supply a full customer spec bike at this point.
