Spring riding in Colorado

Where are some really nice places to see some spring colors in Colorado? I have been riding here a few years, but last spring I was out for a little while and missed it, so I still don't know where the really good colors come out. You can find a bunch of places that tell you where to hit the fall colors (and there are a lot of places), but I can't seem to find the same for some nice spring flowers, etc.

Anybody have any favorites? And what month of the year? The closer to Denver the better, but I will definitely be taking some longer rides too.
