Shesaid and I remember you from another thread, possibly about your wife taking the MSF course and bike shopping, and upon seeing your location said, that seems like a perfect distance/area for a ride once we start venturing further. We figured we'd ride up and camp somewhere and see if you guys would like to grab a beer. Still not sure when this would be, though we did figure on contacting you first. But our rides are getting bigger, better, and longer:

Parkfield

Two tectonic plates in one ride! If you guys do go to Pismo, it is fairly easy to detour to/through Parkfield, just watch out for the pigs.

Yeah, we talked quite a bit in the thread about the riding class. Since getting her license, Kimberly has ridden her DR350 to work a lot. We have only done one big trip, though; we went over Sonora Pass and spent the weekend riding trails and roads in the Mono Lake area.

We also have a visit to your area on the list, so we'll see who gets around to it first.

Well done by the way. I thought your original post was clear enough to realize what this was but I seem to have been proven wrong. I might have to figure out how to do this as I can imagine a lot of great series pics that would make a great illusion (delusion?).

The original plan was to stage her riding over the log (which is WAY beyond her capabilities and possibly the Fatcat's!) and landing with a triumphant fist pump. The crash was supposed to be an "alternate ending" for the sole purpose of making her step-mom cringe (my SIL.) Somehow we got distracted with the alternate ending and completely forgot to get the "Yay, I did it" shots. I think the neice would have liked to show those off at school more than the crash. Oh well... next time!
