A few more questions for you Paul. With your group, what is the common language?
What language was used in that those parts of China, Cantonese or Mandarin?
How is the rider with the broken bones?

What was your impression of the rapid growth of technology/buildings/infrastructure doing to the local customs?

Once again, thanks for the time you took to do this repot.

You'd be surprised at what other gadgets they're holding on to.

Those area of Tibet / Sichuan border don't receive much foreigners compared to bigger Chinese towns so they're much relatively untouched and they practiced their customs openly as much as they wanted. Astonishing sights to view. We tried as much as we can to spending time in these remote areas rather than big cities.

We have 2 Mandarin speaking riders and a few of us can speak startling Mandarin so not much of a big issue when it comes to conversing.

Yes all the injured riders are recovering well. Thanks for asking.
