Other things of note, if you haven't been paying attention.........

This year, for the first time, the Pro classes had the opportunity to qualify for starting positions.

Brice Menzies fastest TT
Robby G. got to rerun his Qual because a helo got to close to him. qual'd 9th.
inmate PAB rolled, his wife's TT hauled ass (I don't think she was driving for qualifying probably because she is not starting, Qual-ers=Starters).

There are 3 Kawi's in the top 10 Qualifying today, only 2 KTMs.
Kendal Norman is on the factory KTM with Casselli and Ramirez.
There is an "Ironman" class for the first time.

Live tracking this year and Weatherman feed is back.

Some Wild-Man is going to barrelroll-jump a truck at contingency tomorrow @4pm. I guess contingency wasn't enough of a circus.

1st Pro bike off the line a 11pm Thursday

I don't know much about the race...if pro's begin leaving at 11pm...what time would the last amateurs be leaving?

Heck of a way for someone doing it ironman to have to begin that late. On the surface it would seem to stack the odds even further against them?

It's going to be especially tough on the Ironman bike riders. They still have to go through tech inspection during the day, and probably at best will get a nap in during the day - it's tough enough to sleep during the day, but with the excitement of the race I imagine it will be even harder to get to sleep. Combined with a very rough course this year, the Ironman riders have my complete admiration...

If it was me, I would prerun the start finish the night before and have my crew run the bike through tech. That would give you all day to snooze and be fresh for the night riding.

Will be running a pit at RM 493 at the road crossing, just beyond the BFG pit. Feel free to stop if you need help or if you are spectating. Pitting for Terrible Herbst & lucky sperm.

Bike Overview from Enduro360

Here are links to a couple good articles by Chilly:

Todays Update: http://www.enduro360.com/2013/11/13/...next-36-hours/

Something I noticed in the comments below today's article:
Chilly says:

So the word floating around is that Timmy Weigand is injured and may not be able to race. It would not have been from today’s qualifying, but from something else while prerunning. It sounds like David Kamo has the doctors okay to race after dislocating his shoulder a week or so ago. It is really hard to get good information, Honda is super quiet about this stuff. Colton Udall rode the bike today for the qualifying, so that means he will start the race tomorrow night.
As rider of record, Timmy will have to finish on the bike for points, but he can literally just get on and cross the line with it if he is really injured.
