most who have a go have some form of support
tk and don had a fourby
phil and bill a plane
posties had fourbys,
even the guys who didn't have a truck still had supplies in one coming if needed
tyres waiting at a location
sat phones ,computers etc
it's just what you gotta do
every attempt is a little different
can't say too much i didn't go thru the simpson
went under it
next time i will go thru it

I think Phil & Bill have the record for the route they took.
This bloke has the record for the route he took.
The whole idea of a coast to coast record is very subjective.
And this would be the reason there will never be a definitive coast to coast record.
Congrats to those who do it but ease up on the chest beating please.
An "official" route would only bring the attention of the "Authorities" anyway.
My vote also goes to the C to C posties.

His rules said 1 tire (unless shredded). So not really a rule? What about drugs? Can you take drugs? He could have saved a couple hours of sleep. I assume you can speed if not caught?
Seems like advrider should make a few basic rules so we can all give an official record a go
