Kev I spent years as a public servant doing different jobs, perhaps I could come in as a consultant and show your blokes how to lean on their tools i.e shovels, rakes and brooms, and not have to make too many rapid movements in order to look busy when the boss fronts . I could also show you how to carry around a clipboard for 6 months and do fuck all but claiming you are doing a study whilst claiming full pay.

for summer I wear nylons, light weight jersey, pressure suit, forearm guards, good knee braces, good boots and quality gloves with good wrist fastening and good palm protection. A backpack with 3 litre hydration pack is a definite.

with me it's not if I fall off it's when.

As Brian said, all the hard bits will be optional but everyone will be encouraged to give them a go.
All I have to do now is work out how to string them all together with some nice easy tracks.
Looks like there will be plenty of variety in the ride, which makes me even sadder that I wont be able to make it.
As I have never posted pics on here, once I work it out you'll see why
Will hopefully have another bike sorted early in the new year so will definately keep an eye out for future rides.

Have fun peoples !

Oh, and good on everyone who makes these rides possible.

I'm with you Bully. Having just survived a high speed impact with all my gear on I don't give a shit how hot it is. I put the full kit on every time . Anyway it only gets hot when you stop so just keep riding

(Or if you gotta stop it only takes a few seconds to strip down a bit)

I fall often too but it doesn't hurt so bad with all the gear on

Cheers Jay

I'm hoping that Desiree will be able to join us - leaving her Stelvio in the garage and bringing her dad's DRz instead

Front page updated. 19 so far including 5 maybe's. Would it be possible to cross post this back to the BMW site like last time in case the guys there want to bring the big machines out for a play?

Cheers
Brian

Bully, if I were you mate, I wouldn't be putting that stuff on here, it's not that sort of club, and anyway, if the midget finds out, I'll never be able to look you in the eye again.....
