NBC sports to broadcast 2014 Dakar

I just got word that NBC Sports will be broadcasting Dakar in January. There will be 15 programs at 5 pm on a day +1 basis in the USA.

Does anybody have contacts at NBC sports? Ask them to look for the American privateer with a stars and stripes helmet!

I am searching for a seat or seat pan that will fit a KTM 450 XCW. Imagine your seat and my ass at Dakar!

Thanks

Pedro

My name is Peter Hardy and I will be racing a KTM XCW built by Scott Spears at Freedom Rally, who will also be servicing the bike during the rally. More can be found at freedomrallyracing.com

My background is racing Baja. I attended Jimmy Lewis' navigation clinic and raced the Tuareg Rally this spring in preparation for Dakar. My job as a seasonal wildland firefighter prevents me from riding in the summer, but does provide excellent cardio and strength training. Lately I have been riding as much as possible.

I am not the fastest or wealthiest racer out there, but I do have the determination to race the Dakar Rally.

Please consider supporting this effort by PayPal. Any amount is appreciated. For $50 or more, I will send a shirt, two coozies and three stickers anywhere in the US. Please include shirt size and address.

Thank you!
