What would you do?
i wouldn't go back. And I'd fight the ticket. After i found the landowner or the one next door so you could say you cross the line without knowing.

RedBird Station is going to be having their annual Ham & Bean dinner starting @ 3pm. Cornbread will be made onsite without the fear of leaving it at home this time.

Come on out and lets hit some trails and have a good time before the weather really turns for the worst.

Free camping for the whole weekend to all. Heated bath/shower house too.
Hope to see you all there.

Not me! I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

November 16-december 1 is firearms season. Thats 3 weekends to hunt. Alot of people lease land to hunt on and they travel along way, camp out or get a hotel. Its not cheap and they only get a few chances a year to hit the woods. I can see why some might get irrate if riding on there hunting spot. Since i ride and hunt i wouldnt call the pooolice but i would just ask someone to leave but others most other feel different. Oh and DNR officers can do just about whatever they want and go wherever they want. They have more authority than the local PD.

After having 2 firearms waved in my general direction last year, I stick to approved riding areas during hunting season.
Not because I fear being shot but because it really pisses them off and puts a bad taste in their mouths about DS riders.

Didn't I read that some sorta late gun season is actually getting extended into January this year too?

Ya, I'm just opting outta the woods for now. I don't hunt anymore these days and if staying outta the woods for a month or so gets me back in the woods for the rest of the year, that's a pretty fair trade-off IMHO.

That would be too heavy and bulky to ride anywhere I want to.
Might be ok for the stuff you ride though....

Hey Too Slow

Darn Tootin' on the Wheeler Holler Boys during dear season! Deer meat is the only meat they eat all year! Except a neighbors stolen hog... Very dangerous near the MusSkatterTuck river, man eating Carp and Drum fish in them waters, but free watermelons in the summer if u like sand and are not afraid of rifles! Me and Brewski83 and some kentuckians might see ya at THE 5 star dining establishment in Medora some winters day. You know the place! Devils backbone rocks! Ft Ritner is a happenin' place!

Find a costume or a friend and be on official business.

They will have to stop laughing before they shoot or ticket you.

Part of the Indiana Trespass code:IC 35-43-2-2 Version a

(5)not having a contractual interest in the property, knowingly or intentionally enters the dwelling of another person without the person's consent..
also, posting or exhibiting a notice at the main entrance in a manner that is either prescribed by law or likely to come to the attention of the public - See more at: http://codes.lp.findlaw.com/incode/3....crsjzHeM.dpuf

So from this I get is that the home owner only has to place the 'No Trespassing' sign at the beginning of the main driveway. I have one at the beginning of my driveway.

Why would anyone go riding out in the woods during gun deer season? The gun deer hunters only have 2 weeks out of the year to hunt, and we should all be considerate of other users of the woods.
