Very nice! I see you found the importance of the roll charts, hard to explain till you see it. Looks like you guys are off to a good start! Gear makes big differences in how you do on the TAT and the research is half the fun.

motionx gps app

I have this on my phone and really like it. With the downloaded maps you dont have to worry about signal. It will eat your battery. I just keep mine connected to a 12v charger while riding. There is some info about it here on adv in the gps section. It has its limitations like not being waterproof and such but is a great alternative to a real moto gps.
