On the other hand, it seems to be the same with other brands. The street BMWs are in the street forum, not in the GS.
The thing is, the GS forum has a very specific name (GS) while the generic "Orange" naming suggests, well... anything orange.
I think splitting the V-twin adventure in 2 sections (9*0 and 1190) would be good, but KTM thumpers are better in Thumpers and street beasts in their forum.
Otherwise the whole forum should be reorganized by brands instead of category.

they used to include a beer bottle opener with the KTM tool kit

now they include a corkscrew
