Funny I don't see anyone wanting to move the Super Duke 1290 thread to road warriors
I guess it's only the "adventure" that has some needing a dose of monkey butt powder

So you are saying if you don't click on it, that it just pops up and you are forced to read it? Hhhhmmmmm I've never had that happen, interesting

KTM twin is a KTM twin. Keep Oc. I would actually want to include the 690s in here since to me these are all the same application. I use my SE different than some people, probably a 500 EXC would be better, however if I sell my Duc, than a 990 ADV or 1190 Adv would be better for my application.

I actually think splitting is petty. It's just the next generation of an awesome bike.

I'm still a noob here, but has anybody complained that 950s & 990s share the same forum? I haven't seen any. It's a KTM, it's a twin, it's a dual sport, it's going to be used pretty much the same as the 9Xs, right?

So, after scanning the threads, I vote keep it the way it is. If anyone is keeping score, that is.

I vote for splitting.

Different motor with different kind of problems, solutions, bling, case options, frame. If someone is interested he could find the info needed, concentrated in the 1190 part.

Spilt it so we know that what people looking and after for.

Lots of people just open a new topic saying "abs problem" or " vibration" without telling the name of the bike ? They think ktm only produce 990/ 950 nothing else which is a shame.

May be they can spilt it and say new generation Ktms so we don't need to read about their glorious 950/990 which has lots of problems .

And hoping this will sort the problem of the jealous 950/990 owners to steer shit. 1190 owners really don't like to read your old rusted bikes with their nasty problems .

I can add more to this but I felt like a child

So split it then they can ignore the world of ktm and just talk about their bloody 950/990 s.

How bout it's just split on the basis of hardcoredness. That way the hard core buggers can all rest assured that everyone knows how hard they are, and those of us who don't give a rats can mix freely and get on with discussing and celebrating great bikes.

Talking Definition of hard coreness

Should be the person/s who always does wheelies, wears out a knobbly in 25 mins, does a valve service in 10 mins, is general nuisance and eat nails and sundry hard ware for breakfast and shits bricks
I'm the epitomy of un hard coreness, hardly ever do wheelies, no knobblies, has hard luggage and has the dealer doing service.
However I will use it, not for one day single track or stuff like that, but for a trip to TdF and then home via Africa.
Please tell me on which side of the fence I should stand.
I wish I had bought a GSA a long time ago
and now I drink Orange Crush as well, thrice up now, two 990 Adv and a 950 SER
