Epic ride in the SBNF...

Pics boys we need pics...

Rode some 50 plus miles of wet desert ST with a little hillclimb practice to boot.

I love wet desert.

come on, u know these 3 things don't mix: beer, trials tires and snow

conditions were epic like our tires and dirt were like Velcro at time tooo much traction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck snow!

There was one section of snow that was maybe at the most 12" deep and not steep at all. I could get zero traction after three attempts and when I got a little traction in the dirt below, my tire would instantly dig a whole

Other than that one section, the Velcro was insane all day long.

That was epic! That kid kicked ass on that hill that day. No one on a 950Se is making it up that hill.

Nice to see guys using this "trail system". Most guys ride right by it on the ROAD. Definatly not for the meek.

I'm chomping at the bit to ride with you guys. Just a few more weeks, hopefully.

any restaurants accessible with a green sticker bike?

planning a ride where the sportbikes and dirtbikes meet for lunch

looking @ the SBNF map on the USDA website shows our best bet are deep creek trails in cedar glen - but can we make it all the way?

other options are lame w' a packed lunch - the end of cleghorn or miller canyon trail head

Nope. Not legally, anyway.

Actually...you could stage at Baldy Mesa and ride north, blah, blah to Phelan and pop up into the parking lot of the Mountain Top Cafe in Phelan.

Get a plated bike, problems solved
