Oh man, I'd love to read that issue. I think I'll pull the trigger on the new Z come spring.

Took my last ride for the year on Saturday; it was chilly but super fun. That completes six full riding seasons with this bike and I love it more now than when I first got it.

Then I put her to bed for the winter. And it snowed several inches the very next day. See you in the spring my beautiful green machine.

I had one... it was a ripper!

I checked "yes" on all the upgrades. Ti Exhaust, Power Commander, SS lines, K&N, Suspension upgrades... It would roll-on wheelie at 80mph.

Checked out the 2014 z1000 at the Novi MI bike show, very good looking in the flesh.

That is a sweet looking ride! Looks great with the black wheels. I want your exhaust and bottom brackets.

Thanks - it's had a new owner for awhile, but it created a great deal of "Ti-Envy" when it was on the streets here.

Wario, what a nice looking bike you had! My question to you and any other first gen Z1000 owner who might know is about engine vibes. I have read on few occasions that these bikes are too vibey for any long strech, is that true?

I miss her pretty bad. I sold her to quiet my wife down when I brought home a Buell without "permission" (don't ask, yeah I'm prolly wipped but I do own 4 bikes and 3 boats so mebe not fully).

I put the Z and my ZRX up for sale at the same time but the Z sold first. They're both fairly similar but the Z is much more refined. I had an Ohlins shock and progressive spings on the Z and WOW.

Nice bikes guys keep the pics coming

That's my old girl up there. Vibey? Not in my experience. Never really toured on her but we did do several 400+ mile days with no issue. I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam and while not quite as roomy as some it was just fine for me.
