TomC and O2Pilot,

I have successfully started my tiger several times right around the 30F mark.

This morning it was 33 and the bikehadn't been run since Tuesday, had been out in the rain all day yesterday.... ching ching ching ching braap.
It's a beautiful thing.
Still not saying I slayed the dragon, but it's looking good.

I have not been paying attention - what did you do to make your Tiger start when cold?

2x shorai 14AH 210CCA batteries installed today. Simple parallel install. 50% less weight than the battery that was there.
35 degree start, bike hasn't been run for a week. A sure recipe for a non start.
Cranked better than ever, and I mean EVER, started strong!!!
Not saying this is the solution for several weeks of testing.
Can you post up a picture of the installed batteries? I'd like to see how they fit.
Cost? Source? Part number?

My Tiger is still without forks so she is going nowhere - sent them to Rick at Cogent to get new springs and some other upgrading. Figured it is a good time of the year to have one bike down for maintenance.

Shorai LFX14A2-BS12

The polarity wasn't marked properly on the ebay auction so rather than go through the return process I did this:

I'm positive that with some study you can find a single lithium to do the trick. I just didn't think that the recommended shorai for our bike was overkill enough. . A little spendy but I hate fucking around with stuff like this.

Update on the Conti Trail Attack 2s.
Bike is flickable and sticks like it's on a rail in the twisties. Confidence inspiring.
Also... spendy.

Well now. That's a different approach.

And route 9 was positively lovely today, albeit a might chilly.

And a shot of WV just because....

I think we should all pitch in and make a Christmas miracle happen. If we all pitch in 20, maybe 25 cents, we can get Jack some shoe laces. Let me know if you think we can make this happen?

Shoelaces?

Jack seems more like a Velcro man.
