That's because you're parking in front of a hydrant!

Hey TE!

I had forgotten about that! Someone who lives in one of the buildings said there were a "bunch of bikers about to fight."

Cops were like, "We heard there was a fight! Where is it?"

Yeah. The only thing this gang would fight over is parking at Starbucks.

My bike's book value doesn't meet the Starbucks standard. For the sake of peace- I'll park in the back. ;)

Combined value of all of my three motorcycles doesn't meet the Starbucks value... I will try to make it this year

Doesn't 'Flug make it to these rides? You stop at each Dunkin Donuts, right?

About ten days to go...

Accuweather app shows 34 Fahrenheit and 12% chance of precipitation for New Year's Day.

Since accuweather is often (usually?) wrong we will have to wait a bit longer to see what the forecast is closer to the event.

Isle of Man(hattan) history and 'policy'..??

So, my lady friend loves riding with me. I bought her cold weather gear: Pants, jacket, balaclava, gloves and liners.

(She likes the heated seat on the K16GT better, but we're taking the R12GS on New Year's Day.)

When I told her about the New Years ride she wanted to go, which I think would be nice. I did the ride last year and do not recall one pillion passenger. Did I miss that? Or were no bikes two-up?

I'm going to put her to work: I asked her to hold my go pro on the monopod and film all of us.

Lawrence

I was there with the wife last year and most of my club members showed up with their significant others. There are plenty of bikes 2up.

In Boston we fuck up the forecast 10 hours out, much less 10 whole days!

But I am hoping for decent weather. It's too bad yesterday wasn't new year's day. It was over 50 and took my motorcycle to finish up my Christmas shopping. It was a glorious day!

Ha, yeah, If I were as accurate as the weatherman in my job there'd be big problems. (I'm a Podiatrist, foot surgeon.)

I rode yesterday too in New York and New Jersey. Went to the motorcycle Mall in Belleville, NJ to buy some winter gear. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for but the ride alone was worth the trip. Stopped in Little Korea on the way back on 32nd St. for some good Korean food.

Then we rode around Manhattan later at night, through Central Park and around the city stopping for delicious cookies at La Vain Bakery on the Upper West Side.

I love how my PIAA 520s on my GS light up the whole street at night. They even light up Times Square at night! "Get outta the street tourists!"
