You're an ice virgin right?

Time to pop your cherry.

Makes the winter go by faster too.

Round lake, sometimes near the twin bridges off of I87.

Tannersville too though the locals like to keep the crowds kind of small.

A few guys have studded their SE's and they go pretty good on the ice.

The Tenere might surprise you though I doubt I'd stud one if I had a small bike.

If nothing else it would be good training for a n00b like me.

I hate you and that danged TW that kept lapping me.

But thank you. I'm still no less a n00b.

I'm thinking SE with ice tires to help me try to get my head around that evil bike.

The Good Times on Ballston Lake has changed hands. The people that own The Village Pizzaria in Galway bought it. They are still in the process of redoing the entire place. Rumor is they will welcome the lake activities. Bad news is that I heard the parking lot may be smaller. I'll keep my ears open and let you'all know.

If you call him he can make them with the longer Canadian screws like mine. They have the street tire lining cut and fit inside. The workmanship is awesome, its like they are moulded in.
