Lets see if anyone can see it - not all of it is visible. Choccy fish to first to find.

Now I should really know this but how often does one need to change sparkplugs? Here's mine. The RHS one had some gunge around the top of the thread however I think it is copper paste.

Sorry for bad pics - trying to use my tablet & dropbox app thinking that they are simpler but not really.

Now for any others of you that want to send anonymous pressies I have made up a list:

World peace
18inch tubes & wofable 18in rear roadie tyre for berlina
8mm headstud at least 265-270mmm long for berlina
rebuildable driveshaft
lower action on my guitar neck
more dexterous fingers & better rhythm
beard trimmer
quick trip on a time machine to 1994 where I won't carry a stove down some stairs for an old fella & root my back for life
cool old gas tank like a KZ one
membership to the Dixie chicks band
DIY liposuction machine - going without kitkats is way worse than heroin withdrawal
peanut valve covers x 4
aid for whatever country is having a catastrophe this month

That should do it.
looking forward to your replies.

Should read 'BTW Aslan don't think we have forgotten you owe us a RR. I know you're out there'. Otherwise the double negative implies that we have.

I replace them anytime I have doubts about them. Cheap enough.

I would almost go so far as to say you have been re-gifted.

Spark plugs, look for wear on the electrode and excessive gap, check for crack....................just get new ones they are cheap enough. I always run iridiums well iridium (singular).

When we doing the Mackley?

No!

Changed the spark plugs on Schmidt but still wasn't running gruntily enough so I whipped the carbs off & gave them a clean. Far out what a lot of gunk in the particle accelerator. There was also an amount of water in the float bowel - most definitely from the water leg of the Taranaki coffeeless tour. A can load of carb cleaner & good blowout with the air gun & they were fully cocked & loaded.
Man what a difference The bike used to stagger until the throttle was wide open so I'd be slipping the clutch or riding in a lower gear at higher revs. Now the acceleration is smooth & even. Velly nice to ride.

I nipped out for a quick jaunt to Hori Bay. Of course on the way back to town I lost the new tool roll off the back over the corrugations. As I rode back slowly looking for it a blue car came flying round the corner towards me at a irresponsible pace. Further on a ute slowed down & stopped as I came towards it. They had picked up the tool roll & were going to call me when they got into town as I had my phone number written on this one

Still on the isolated gravel Hori bay rd on the way back towards town I caught up to the ute just as a black spaniel ran out of the nearby grass & ran following it. Since it was a far distance to the closest house I could see I thought it was a strange place for it to be - sure didn't look like a pig dog.
i rode for a couple of kms down to the driveway of the closest house when the blue car mentioned before drives back towards me. Turned out the dog was theirs & the passenger exclaimed it had jumped out the window & they got back into town before realising it wasn't there. I pointed them in the direction of it & left.
I realised while riding back that the dogs didn't jump out - it would have been thrown out by the drivers rally driving

A lovely hot sunny ride - I haven't had one of those in a while- here's to many more before the winter comes.
