A few of these attached to the webbing on the water bottle should allow you to clip the whole thing to the straps on the MPs.

How do these bags compress when empty, or nearly so? I can see using them constantly, but if they're going to be flapping in the wind when empty, or nearly so, I may need to figure out something else.
