Also I found running an equalizer on my player made a big difference.
One can dial it in for your type of music.

It appears the 2013 version called the SMH5-FM has FM radio, comes with the upgraded speakers, and on sale for 119 for one or 229 for two.

Yeah, I don't either, but the upgraded speakers and wired rather than boom microphone is about $30 bucks purchased separately for the SMH5, completely negating any savings for the old model.

I don't think anyone wants to hear me talk, but range is improved to 700 meters (from 400 meters) as well if two-way communication is important.

Yes, totally agree. I think I'm going to buy one and try it out. I can see the 2 way comms as being a very convenient, even though non essential addition.

We have the SMH10's and really like them. Had Scalas before that and although they had FAR better range, the sound and the ease of use of the Sena's make the better IMHO.

For someone like me who is style and color compatability challenged, they do a real good job of helping you pick things that actually look good on you too!

If you hear of a sale, pass it on if you would.

Check out interphone brand. Generic BT/intercom brand. From my experience works just as good as all the others at less than half the price. I'm very happy with mine.

Have the Sena SMH10, we find good range and the new firmware makes it pairable with multiple devices of different makes and models. Also supports music sharing between headsets (don't know why we want that but there it is)

I get roughly 12-14 hours of music listening time and 8-10 hours of talk time.

Recharge times vary depending on the mA rating of your particular usb power source.

I think they have a buy one get one free thing going right now. Might want to check it out, and join the ranks of the dapper and suave gentlemanly types that are starting to grace ADV.

Got a link? All the interphone products I found are DOUBLE the price of the Sena.

Looks pretty good. I'm not interested in phone calls - I ride a bike to get away from that shyt, but if I can get a few toonz in my ears, that's of interest.
