It does look like the cage has failed and almost half the balls are missing, or is it a trick of the light?

Have you owned it from new? Ever found any little balls?

Wow. It does look like I'm missing some bearings but its just a trick from the oil/light angle. Never found anything of significance in the screens. 2nd hand since 4k miles.

I have the gear lever go tight/stick and the loosen on my old 950. The cause was elongated shift fork rollers.
