front end done.... still got to put the Ohlins in the rear
just waiting on swing arm & linkage bearings so I can do
it all at once...
Have another front wheel..thinking of having a 18" rim laced in to
for seal & gravel.. just a tought at the moment...

That is a real nice looking XT Pete, do you think you have stripped much weight of it so far with the single exhaust and any other mods?

Reason I'm asking is I reckon the 660 might be a great upgrade from my XT250 but the stock XT660 looks a little heavier than it should be with the likes of the heavy twin pipe system.

Other than the pipes it's quite hard to save any real weight..
There's a lot of weight in the motor & the frame could never
be called under constructed..
they are 165/170kgs in stock trim..
