so much miss-information ... smoking pot usually doesn't trash your lungs. it'd be really hard to smoke enough of it to do damage to your lungs. let's compare to cigarettes .. normally one smokes a tiny fraction of a cigarette size joint of pot. vs it's not unusual for smokers to consume 1-3 packs of cigarettes per day. a night and day difference in smoke exposure times to lungs for pot vs tobacco.

for instance it's impossible to overdose on Pot .. it would take smoking about 3 lbs of pot to reach toxic levels. since it's not possible for any one person to smoke 3 lbs of pot in one sitting. it's impossible to over dose on pot.

vs it's quite easy to reach a toxic dose on alcohol .. kids do it all the time on everclear

soooo much miss-information on pot!

I think it will happen here on the dry-side. I know the retail has been slow to get off the ground, but once the moratoriums lapse and retail licenses are granted it will be full steam ahead.

Maybe Costco will start selling bud, right next to a 65 pound bag of Cheetos.

I wouldn't try the airport without some research. Ports have some autonomous authority, evidently.
I've been waiting for the change to our lives as we know it but haven't been bombarded with pot use news for a while now. Once in a while media shows some kid with dreadlocks smoking a big 'ol mummy finger during hemp fest.
Has anyone really noticed anything different since Washington pot law changed?

Are there shops open now? Besides the medical dispensaries.

The only way I see it working at an airport is is you fly from Washington to Colorado or vice versa.

No shops open here, that I know of. There are open ones in Colorado that I'm aware of though.

Re airports, be mindful that the TSA is a federal agency, and federal law still regards MJ as an illegal drug. Getting caught with pot either on your person or in checked baggage will most likely mean a federal felony conviction and some prison time.

When retail shops do open here in Washington... Im still going to call up someone I know and buy from them. Unless the stores have edibles... That may persuade me a bit
