Yes, it seemed to work fine. Copied the stock map and saved it just in case. Then loaded the suggested map from Christian Parker at CPR Fabrications, he has a link to,the software and free maps on the CPR/ Rottweiler website. The cable is from CJ designs LLC in CO.

Going to try to get out for a good shakedown after the filter and map upgrades this week.

Yes, the hose I purchased came pre drilled for safety wire on the drain plug at the end of the hose. See photos at CJ designs LLC website.

I'd be very interested to know what parts you used for the "snap out" doghouse!

Just some thick tough plastic I have laying around, drilled holes to the size of the frame rails and cut them open:

Can take a few more pictures.

But want to add a disclaimer that this has not been field tested what so ever!

I am looking at installing an under seat fuel tank and if I do so I will loose the storage sage space for the 950 tools. Dog house with this mod would be great. Thank you for the additional information.

Huh.

Too bad there's not some sort of online resource where people that have already done the work could help out someone that has NOT already done the work. Maybe even something like beer could be offered in exchange for a friendly visit to the garage from a more experienced inmate that might be able to offer input based on his experience.

Huh.

But have to say that a tech day with beer (not the inmate, the beverage) and like minded guys can be great!

And should anyone every pass by the north part of Sweden I would be glad to meet up and help out if needed.

Cheers!

EDIT: Hold back on the beer until the bikes are back together!

North end of Sweden is a fair piece away from my for sure.
But, if you are ever silly enough to wander onto the left coast near, "The Happiest Place On Earth", I'll buy the beer.

Your install of the CPR products is bookmarked on my iPad for later use. Very well done. The Russia video is cool too.
I have a block of UHDPE in black I think will make a set of hooks for the toolbox too. Great idea!

I promise I can.

We will see what happens in the future, hope to have a LC8 on the other side of the pond in the future =)

A few more pictures of the snap out dog house:

And yes that is my cheapo electric pump in there that I gutted and squeezed into a coleslaw container, have never needed to use it myself but needed it 3 times in the field to help out others!

And as I have said before it has not been field tested what so ever!

Feel free to copy but please give me credit for it =)

I would hardly call myself an experienced mechanic, but I do what I can. All someone would have to does ask for help, however, and it would be given, pretty simple, no need to beat around the bush.

Well, one wouldn't want to impose...
