If anyone grabs this, make sure to grab the NC tag too... Fairly close and all...

So... I got my son a KTM 50 for Christmas. Looking for a field I can take him to teach him. Does anyone know an area I won't get run off? And one I won't have to drive 2 hours or pay $50 a day?

got the bike maintainence done sooner that i expected, took a short first run of the new year...gassed her up and rode a loop of backroads...the XS1100 is now 35 yrs old and will be exempt from NC DMV inspections
She is running like a new bike to boot
This tag is still out there ...

I walked outside fully prepared, or so I thought, to ride to work. I mean, hell, I've ridden in the teens recently. The wind was just stupid though. When do I start getting all the global warming I've been paying for?

Catch 22

You've got to ride more to cause the "Global Warming" that will allow you to ride more......

Those global warming researchers in the arctic, got their boat stuck in ice, which wasn't supposed to be there, due to global warming.

It's a farce!

With the high barely cracking the freezing mark, I won't be riding today. It rained yesterday, and there is ice around here. My wife's car doors were frozen shut this AM. I figured by now, she'd wrap up her project in the garage and start parking there again.....

Ben, I think technically it's called nuclear blue. But really it's 80's purple. When it's cleaned up and in the sun it almost changes colors from bright ass purple to dark blue as you walk around it. It's usually so dirty you can't even tell. I cleaned it up a little after doing some maintenance on it over the holidays.

I'll try not to leave it at a dry cleaners.

Hope you are doing well. Hope the job is still going well.

Same goes for everyone. Have a good weekend.
