Why is this?
Whoah, whoah, whoah! Car talk here surely not? Mods?

Since I'll be off soon and have to work tomorrow, here are stage 2 distances:

WP1 @ 47km
WP2 @ 118km
WP3 @ 147km
CP1/WP4/refuel @ 177km
WP5 @ 259 or 269km (@split course)
WP6 @ 278km
WP7 @ 313km
ASS @ 259km

Now hoping the WP tracking works...

"Sainz 37 second behind at CP2"... "CP3PO should be opening any minute now...?" etc. might be better placed over in AUTO, so as not to clog things up more than already occurs.

But no worries... I'm not the doyen here... just the humble servant... so post wherever you like...

But the f5act is it is NOT too hard to f5ollow both... just open two folders in your browser and run them parallel...

The THREAD titles are different - so you can see them up on the folder index, when finished reading, just close, open the other one and check it out... or go to micha... or posis... or the Dakar.com site or facebook, twitter, google or whatever.

Then when you re-open the folder (either f5irehose or the AUTO thread) just press F5 (duh so, that's where the name comes from??? ) and the page will reload all the new waffle you have missed in the last five minutes, and start the process overa gain.

Simple enough?

Now that you've put it so diplomatically, you're making it hard to complain about heavy hand of the establishment...
I had a picture ready and a joke that next they'll make us work on rest day and take away our f5pensions.

I understand the way it works, but the way it's going now the car thread is full of tumbleweeds with the occasional cricketing of CP times, whilst all the talk keeps on going here, getting torn between the F5irehose and the Carthread.

Either fully divide the two (and label the threads accordingbly, say [4 WHEELS] and [2 WHEELS] ) or don't do it at all, methinks.

Tracker shows he is in the ass.

Frédéric, our Malle Moto inmate is now one of two still out on the stage. If he gets in in time...well one heck of a way to start a Dakar. He won't be getting much rest tonight if he doesn't dnf

Slow clap needed

I call shenanigans...

Official thread closed for the opening ceremony, car talk is recommended elsewhere, no official media thread, 2013's post count was down and it looks to be the same this year. Hail to the 2012 thread. The good ol days...

How about a new navigator every year for a start?

Is it the same with the rest of his team? I don't know.
I guess Rubby rubs his navigators wrong eh?

I was wondering about him, but since no one mentioned it I thought he made it.

Go on Frederic.
