This way they do not have to take off the seat or try to get clamps to the battery... just plug in and jump start. So the reason for this little adapter is so that they can connect the charger directly to the 8 gauge harness and charge the battery if needed. It just eliminates having to have an SAE harness AND our seperate 8 gauge harness.... Cleans it up a bit.

A normal SAE cable would burn up trying to jump start through it.... so we will have the 8 gauge wire and they can put this tip on the charger to charge through the 8 gauge wire.... Hope I made sense... I will try to post the harness also...
That is very slick. Is your source for those adapters capable of producing some SAE gender changers for me? I used to have a bunch of them but can no longer find a source.

I make 8 gauge heavy duty SAE jumper cables for friends of mine. And a gender changer would surely come in handy for me.

Mega Cool New Product-Antigravity Batteries

just ordered, looking forward to getting for my fleet of machines (the ones that aren't pull or kick start).

We went through 2 days of no power during the pre-Christmas ice storm here, so I also envision using the unit for emergency charging of gadgets.

Cell service stayed on and it was amazing how much time we spent on iPhone and pad while waiting for normal to be restored.

New batteries xps models

What duties can the smaller version of this new battery be used for?

Is it a substituted for the micro start when there is longer drain periods and not instant draw like cold starting ?

Ordered an XP-3 as a safety device for winter riding on my 500. As my 1190's battery seems incapable of starting once temps drop below 5C it was a no-brainer.

Forgot to take advantage of the discount though

I suppose you wouldn't be able to use this harness to charge the micro-start itself?

My wife was visiting while my daughter sat in her minivan and played the 650 watt stereo for almost an hour. Outside temp was about 10 F.

Car wouldn't start so I talked my wife through hooking up the MicroStart. Started right up and she was on her way in three minutes.

Sounds too good to be true, but read all the reviews I could find online. Just ordered one on Amazon.... Now which vehicle of my 7 do I keep it in??? I may need to hang it up with all the keys so I can grab it going out the door so I always have it with me! Hope I never need it, but know I will! Will post review after I use it.

Has that nifty SAE connector been produced yet? I could make my own adapter but it would be slick to use that.
