This can be very different.
Because you should include multiple viewing angles.
France and Italy have really become quite expensive.
Germany is more price value today. Especially the areas to the east.
(Thuringian forest Saxon Switzerland, Elbe Sandstone Mountains)
Czech Republic is inexpensive
and Romania's even cheap.
The most expensive property (pictures) cost 30 € with breakfast
Located in the heart of Sibiu directly on the market.
The cheapest € 8

You live in London yet think Europe is expensive? Scandinavia, yes and Norway especially, Switzerland too but elsewhere there's alway inexpensive options, particularly out east.

You may have found love in London but London is romantic? Really?

As with many touring reports, the people fail to mention a date, where taken, what off and what am I looking at with any of their photos. Its more of a look where I've been (yet I still don't know) and lacks information. I give a thumbs down to any of those.

Hmmm....to me the TOURING / travel/ adventure and discovery part of a trip is way more important than creating a book of statistics about each pic or view.
If there'd be a RR where every single pic is framed by a batch of names and figures, I'd be done looking at it before the end of the first post.

I just haven't got the time to even scroll through a pile of irrelevant (to me) and useless info cluttering a yarn that should come from the heart and soul of the author... rather than their statistician or accountant.

If a reader/ viewer is really interested enough in the story/ pics, they'll ask and I'm sure a reply will be happily forwarded. Which might well in return spawn some more questions, more specific info given etc etc...the whole idea of a forum like this, methinks.
Interaction...NOT supply of mass-data!

And having written up the odd RR in the past, things were enough of a struggle to find the weeks/ months worth of time to put together yarns of 300-2500pics, sort through up to 12.500 pics and 18hr. of video footage (for a SINGLE trip!), I wouldn't even dream of trying to supply a 20point spec-sheet with every single shot.

And last, but not least...anyone who wants to can piece together the where and what from any of my RR's if they REALLY READ the yarn, grab a map and spend some time!! I'm not here to "cook their meal and chew it for them as well".

From me, it's thumbs up to anyone posting a story and pics...if there's a pic that starts my dreaming, I don't care about the what, where, when or who.

How about writing a yarn yourself....and show us how it's done!
