My psychic told me Dani would be '14, '15, '16 world champion aboard a Honda, Honda, Suzuki respectively. He'll consider retirement after his third consecutive title but sign on for on more year only to lose the title in '17 to Marquez. No not that one. Alex! No word on the others. Roll on 2014!

11 more days til Sepang testing..... We've made it this far, only a few more days to go.

What a long, uneventful, completely bland nightmare the off season is.

Harsh. His exit was as premature as your conclusion.

Simoncelli was nowhere near the talent in life he became in death. He had charisma, and a massive fan following, but he spent most of his career having his ass handed to him. His rookie year in MotoGP was comparable to Stefan Bradl's and only a little better than Bradley Smith's. His results in his second year where similar to those of Bradl, with the same level of support. Simoncelli's death was tragic, but he was not as good as he was being made out to be.

Re: Alex Marquez - Marc says Alex is faster. Personally, I believe Alex Rins is faster than Alex Marquez, but those who watched the pair race in the Spanish championship say Marquez was better.

Re: Pedrosa. There is nobody anywhere near Pedrosa's level of talent, and there won't be until Maverick Vinales and the two Moto3 Alexes (and maybe Jack Miller) make it into MotoGP. That won't be for at least two or three years. Until then, the only person taking Pedrosa's seat would be Jorge Lorenzo.

Yes, Pedrosa will probably come third again. And no, he probably won't win a world championship. But if you are Honda, you want to have two riders capable of taking points from Jorge Lorenzo. The only two men capable of doing that are under HRC contract.

OK folks,

Keep it coming. Anything....ANYTHING about MotoGP.

Like Kawasakirob said, the waiting is, well, what's that about a watched pot never boils?

Gotta' go watch some 2013 races......................

Hey. That's all very well, almost funny. But there's this other guy who really is taking up talent space. As much as we all think he's a cool dude, when was the last time Col Edwards won a race? Why is he there? What's his chances of winning ANYTHING this season? Seriously.

CE must be about 60 years old by now...

Whatever happened to Ben Spies?

39 actually, for another month. Spies called it quits due to shoulder injury.

Didn't Colin "win" top CRT, at least in qualifying, once or twice, in 2013? Maybe even in a race?

It will be interesting to see if he has any impact on the "Open" class in 2014, if you find that kind of thing interesting, that is.

At least he can help Aleix get the electronics set up.

Will Yamaha step up with a full on "Open Category" program? Or will they stick with this "only the tip" charade?

I remember racing the Daytona Race of Champions and WERA Grand nationals back in 1991 (I think?) and this kid from Texas won like five titles in Daytona and another seven or so in Atlanta. We heard he was the son of a rich oil dude and his dad bought him all the best bikes and he won based on mostly that and some skill.
Guess we were wrong.

Agree, and I sympathized with Dovi who was unhappy at losing a seat while the guy that had lesser results but a bigger persona kept his ride.
